A fire rating indicates how long a safe can withstand a given temperature before the interior exceeds the threshold that damages its contents. For example, a safe rated for 60 minutes at 1,200°F means the interior temperature will not exceed 350°F for at least one hour at an external fire temperature of 1,200°F. Higher-rated safes offer more protection for fires of longer duration.

UL ratings are issued by Underwriters Laboratories and indicate a safe's resistance to burglary attack. TL-15 means the safe resisted attack by common tools for 15 minutes under test conditions; TL-30 means 30 minutes. TL-30x6 means all six sides were tested — offering the highest standard of protection for high-value contents.

Items under 150 lbs typically deliver in 2–5 business days after shipment. Items over 150 lbs ship via freight and typically deliver within 3–7 business days, depending on your location. For freight deliveries, the carrier will call to schedule an appointment.
